Texas BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches Recipe 🥪🍖


Ingredients:

- 3 lbs pork shoulder (Boston butt)

- 1 tbsp paprika

- 1 tbsp brown sugar

- 1 tsp garlic powder

- 1 tsp onion powder

- 1 tsp salt

- 1/2 tsp black pepper

- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar

- 1 cup BBQ sauce

- 8 hamburger buns

- Coleslaw for serving


Instructions:

1. In a small bowl, mix together paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.

2. Rub the spice mixture all over the pork shoulder.

3. Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker. Pour apple cider vinegar around the pork.

4. Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pork is tender and easily shredded with a fork.

5. Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred it with two forks.

6. Mix the shredded pork with BBQ sauce.

7. Serve the pulled pork on hamburger buns with coleslaw.


Tips:

- Add a few drops of liquid smoke for an authentic BBQ flavor.

- Use leftover pulled pork for tacos or nachos.
