Apple Cider Pulled Chicken with Onions & Herbs Slow Cooker Recipe (Sweet Autumn Comfort)
Ingredients:
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs
- 1½ cups apple cider (not apple juice!)
- 1 medium yellow onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
- ½ teaspoon thyme
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Optional: dash of cinnamon or nutmeg for extra warmth
Instructions:
- Place sliced onion and garlic at the bottom of your slow cooker.
- Add chicken, then pour over apple cider, Dijon, and apple cider vinegar.
- Sprinkle with herbs, salt, and pepper. Add a pinch of cinnamon if you’re feeling fancy.
- Cook on LOW for 6–7 hours or HIGH for 3½–4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and stir back into the juices. Let it soak up the goodness!
