Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken with Spinach Recipe (Comfort Food Classic)


Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese (or dairy-free substitute)
  • 1 cup heavy cream or full-fat coconut milk
  • 2 cups baby spinach
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, onion powder, and basil. Place in slow cooker.
  2. Add garlic and pour in cream and parmesan.
  3. Cook on LOW for 5–6 hours or HIGH for 3 hours.
  4. Stir in spinach during the last 20–30 minutes until wilted.
  5. Serve with mashed potatoes, pasta, or over steamed rice. Garnish with parsley if you’re feeling fancy.

  • For an extra creamy version, stir in a spoonful of cream cheese or Greek yogurt.
  • Add mushrooms or sun-dried tomatoes for extra umami power.
